Day 7

My Message

Day 7: If you had the opportunity to get a message across to a large group of people, what would your message be?

You are NEVER alone.

So many people in this world today feel..lost, alone, abandoned, hopeless. And I think that a lot of these negative feelings are stemmed from feeling alone. Like whenever one is in a tough situation, it is only worsened by the feeling that no one else is there to help them. They must fight it completely on their own.

But I don't believe this is the case. . . I used to, but not anymore.

No matter what one may believe at their darkest hours, they are never alone. In life, there tends to be at least one person who wants to be there beside you to help. But that person gets shunned because of the 'alone belief'. So, don't push people out of your life like it is so easy to do when things get tough. It's hard, because I guess that's just the natural human reaction to bad situations. Just shove everyone away and deal with it alone. But that seems to just make things worse. For most people, others who love them can be found and can give hope or encouragement or just a shoulder to cry one.

For those who can't find those others, you're still not alone. God is always there. Even if you have pushed him out of your life, he is still there and still loves you. I know that's a hard belief to swallow if you're not all religious and junk, but. . . I'm not really the most religious person you'd meet, but. . . I can find comfort in knowing that, if nothing else, there is always somebody who will love me even through all my mistakes and will always be there with me no matter what. Sometimes its hard for me to believe that it's true, but I keep telling myself that because I do find comfort in it and it does actually help me feel better and find hope when I am despairing.

Maybe this means something, maybe not. But. . . if I could tell the world one thing, I'd want them to know they're not alone.
