Purpose In Life
Day 12: Do you know God's purpose for your life? Do we know this from birth?
I'll start with the second question and then answer the first.
I think that we all have our purpose in life engraved into our hearts upon birth. But we may not discover it until later in life. There are some people who just automatically know and then life pans out for them as they always knew it would. I think they're pretty lucky. Others have to work to find that purpose or just let it happen upon them and then BAM it becomes clear. But I believe our purpose IS set out for us at birth.
Now...do I know God's purpose for MY life? That's a pretty tough question. I feel like I have an idea of it, but I guess noone can really be certain. Well..let me explain it like this. Some people are meant to be nuns and priests adn clergy and such, some people are to not be clergy but live a life of celibacy, and then others are meant to be married. I am almost 100% certain that God's purpose for my life is to raise a family. I honestly, truly believe that that is the sole purpose for my existance on this planet. To raise a family and be a married person and live my religious life as such. I also feel that I am supposed to work with kids. I'm not exactly sure in what form, but I strongly believe that that is also part of my purpose.
Maybe we can all figure out our purpose in life. Hopefully we do before we dont' have any more time to fulfill it.
